Process

Here’s a breakdown of the process to help you understand how I work

  • First, it’s important for me to understand what’s happened. Let’s meet and talk about your situation. This enables me to give you some preliminary advice and provide you with options. This will include how long I think the process will take and the costs involved.

We can talk by phone, meet by Zoom or talk in person, whatever suits you.

  • It’s crucial I know everything I can about your case. You can tell me what you know and provide me any documentation you may have. Once I have all the required information, I will obtain the files and other documentation from the other parties in the proceeding.

  • Once all the relevant information and documentation is received, I access it, and then provide you advice about your options and how I think we should proceed with your case.

  • It’s your decision which option to take. Once you’ve made a choice, I form a strategy to best represent you, whether that’s in or out of court. I will assist you through the process and are available throughout the proceedings to address any concerns you may have.
